I was born in Warwick Bermuda in 1948 and my family came to the United States in 1959 to take advantage of the great educational opportunities that this country had to offer.  After

a brief stay in New York, we settled in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Although my parents dreamed of a Ph. D for each of us, as soon as I graduated from high school, I made my way to the "Big Apple" to be a professional dancer. After several years

of going professional and attending theater school at NYU, I became a Christian. After that my goals changed dramatically. I attended several medical missionary institutes where I learned to help people change their lifestyle, get victory over their habits through Christ, and educate them to

a better way of life.
From 1973 - 1980 I learned and taught herbal and natural remedies, whole food nutrition, hydrotherapy, massage and vegetarian cooking classes. I worked in several health food stores and managed two whole grain bakeries. In 1980, we

came to Nashville to start a vegetarian restaurant and    midwifery services.
I reside in Pegram, Tennessee on 12 acres with my husband of 39 years, André. After 18 years of running a vegan restaurant together, he now teaches health classes and provides lifestyle coaching. We raised and home schooled our nephew, Terrell. My favorite pastimes are reading, exercising, camping, biking, lifestyle counseling and hanging out with families waiting for babies to come.
